Erhard Stackl New Editor-in-Chief of “Jewish Echo”

Erhard Stackl is the new Editor-in-Chief of the magazine “Das Jüdische Echo - Europäisches Forum für Kultur und Politik” (The Jewish Echo- European Forum for Culture and Politics). He succeeds Marta S. Halpert, which had been Editor-in-Chief since 2008 but retired from the position at her wish.

Vienna-born Erhard Stackl is the author of “Sturz der Diktaturen,” for which he received the prestigious Bruno-Kreisky-Award. Since 2010, he also works as an author and freelance journalist for, among others, Der Standard, Südwind-Magazin and The New York Times/International Weekly.
